Bovary

A woman desperately searching for happiness

Emma Bovary lives a routine and unsatisfying life with her husband. Boredom constricts her as much as her corsets and she soon seeks more attention, lovers and new impulses to fill the existential void.

Emma struggles to meet the expectations – her own and those of others – of a society that expects her to be perfect, but she continues to fight for her ultimate desire, that of feeling complete.
A story marked by love, desire, adultery and death
