Sólo son mujeres
“Sólo son mujeres” is a play about women during the Civil War. The work introduces us to the lives of five women who live through this war and its respective consequences. Reality and fantasy mix when telling these five stories based on real events.
This is a multidisciplinary show where dance, music and interpretation play an important role. The show raises a single voice thanks to three women from three different disciplines. The characters are performed by the same actress, Míriam Iscla, who interacts with the dancer Sol Picó, representing all women in the world, and with the actress and singer Carmen Conesa, the voice of the unconscious.
The three disciplines together, theater (text), dance and live music are used to pay tribute to all those fighters, heroines and condemned to silence throughout this dark historical moment. It is also intended to be a key moment when looking towards our future.
