L’enigma di Lea

In a timeless space, Lea has been the possession of God, a creature for divine pleasure (“pure instinct, crystalline sensuality”) who cannot reveal his secret. Bearer of the immortal, the central character becomes the object of surveillance of two monstrous beings, guarantors of morality against a free being. The first opera by Benet Casablancas, with a text by the writer Rafael Argullol, is a piece that captures the ideal of bordering on the absolute as the last of the romantic utopias. A committed score, with an artistic team specialized in contemporary music, led by Josep Pons and with the staging of Carmen Portacelli, one of the best directors of our time.
